It Begins!
Trying to figure out this tumbler thing, so I thought I would start with a quick introduction. My name is Eli Martinez, the editor of Shark Diver Magazine. I have been publishing our magazine since early 2003, and the magazine was designed for shark divers by shark divers. I love what I do, but I finally hit a wall. No matter what stories we published, or videos that showed us safely diving with sharks - people still walked away still afraid of sharks. The problem is many things, the media, the images we choose to publish, the pass down stories and so on. My goal and life work is to shatter the myth, People save what people love, and I want the world to love sharks. Thru video and images of my work, and the work of other dedicated and passionate people - my hope is to change people minds about this misunderstood and beautiful animal.
